Royal Spa Brass will soon be announcing details of BRASS 2012, a new musical training programme for brass and percussion players. We will be using the inspiration of Olympic endeavour to recruit new players and invite them to train with Royal Spa Brass for the 'performance of a lifetime' in 2012.

There will be a number of themes running through the programme which will link to Olympic activities including work with disabled musicians as a hook to the Paralympics. In keeping with the Olympic spirit we will be developing international partnerships via our Baltic Brass trip.

BRASS 2012 will be a three year programme of educational activities, workshops, boot camps,and masterclasses leading up to the 2012 Olympics and provide training opportunities for all age groups and abilities. This will position Royal Spa Brass to take our full part in the Cultural Olympiad in the West Midlands. The West Midlands 2012 cultural programme aims to increase participation, engage young people, and foster community cohesion and international friendship.
